Area Voices Anishinaabenaajimon: Remembering Anna Gibbs

Anna Gibbs and Anton Treuer

Anna Gibbs stood less than 5 feet tall during her time here on earth.  Despite her small stature, she left an immense wave of joy, spiritual connectedness, cultural understanding and service to others in her wake.  Over the course of  her lifetime, she became one of the most influential leaders of the Red Lake Nation and an inspiration across Indian Country and beyond.  In this segment of Area VoicesAnishinaabenaajimon, Anton Treuer recalls Anna Gibbs.
