The Economics of Public Art in Rural Minnesota: A Conversation with Artist Aaron Squadroni

a series of radio segments about the physical/emotional/intellectual process of creating public art - tied to art in public space at KAXE’s studios - which will inspire and support local artists. Made possible by the arts and cultural heritage fund and the citizens of MN.

On this talk with Artist and Architect Aaron Squadroni he talks about his next project that he will
undertake for KAXE. He is working with John Bauer to create a piece of public art in a moving wind turbine to inspire and welcome people to the area there at the shores of the Mississippi River. The canoe pictured was created by Aaron Squadroni and Leah Yellowbird.
