Calexico has always been a masterful band at making music that reflects where they come from. For their 10th album, El Mirador, this longtime Tuscon, Arizona band has once again done just that. The album is a reflection of their surroundings, as well as tapping in to societal dealings, but presented in a positive focus about the power of community and the oneness of the human spirit.
