'Float On' is a song that you heard no matter where you were in life in 2004. Here we are, 17 years (!) later and Portland band, Modest Mouse has been together almost 30 years. They have a new album out now, The Golden Casket, which marks their 7th release.
Talking about the darkness of life is common for Modest Mouse, and this album is no different save for a sweet love letter to co-founder Isaak Brock's children. The album also touches on forced optimism, mental illness, aliens, conspiracy theories and selfies.
