Powers

Following a 3-year hiatus
from radio (a condition caused by Kansas),
Melissa Powers sought the opportunity to
return to the airwaves at KAXE.

Bringing several years of
experience from high school (WAHS Auburn
Hills, MI - Listenership: 1) and college
(WMTU Houghton, MI - Listenership: 5), she
enjoys bringing KAXE listeners a wide range
of artists even she has never heard of.

Master of the "blind
pull" method in the KAXE library, Melissa
tends to pass over any name she's heard of
in favor of those she hasn't (a poor memory
for names helps)... all in hopes that her
listeners will enjoy it too.
